Keystone Folding Box Company Hires New Director of Marketing, Ward Smith

NEWARK, NJ –  Keystone Folding Box Company, designers and manufacturers of blister packaging that promotes patient compliance in both clinical trials and marketed Rx products, announces the recent appointment of Ward Smith as its new Director of Marketing. In his new role, Mr. Smith will be responsible for the development of compliance packaging and applications for both clinical and trade Rx products in North America, Europe, and emerging markets.

Prior to joining Keystone, Mr. Smith worked as a Compliance Packaging Specialist and Clinical Trial Specialist at MeadWestvaco Corporation. He also served as Executive Director at the Atlanta Institute of Medicine & Research.  Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Florida State University and belongs to the Drug Information Association, the Midwest Clinical Supply Group and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering.

Today, the historic company is owned and operated by the Hartman family, whose legacy reaches back over 60 years and three generations, as employees of Keystone.
